Report Statuses Explained
What each status badge means and what to do when a report gets stuck.
| Status | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Running | The engine is actively working through the pipeline stages. | Wait — typical run time is 3–8 minutes. |
| Pick product | The catalogue was fetched but the engine is waiting for you to select a product. | Click the report to open the product picker. |
| Ready | All sections are complete. | Click to read, or download the PDF. |
| Failed | An unrecoverable error occurred. The report data is incomplete. | Check the error message. Failed reports do not consume a report credit. |
Common causes of failure
- Store is not on Shopify
- Store has a very small or hidden catalogue
- Research timed out due to an obscure niche with little online discussion
Why does "Pick product" show after I already picked one?
This can happen if you closed the tab before the selection was confirmed server-side. Click the report — the engine resumes and your previous selection may already be pre-filled.
