Integrations
Slack
Get notified in Slack the moment a brief lands — no more refreshing the dashboard.
What it does
When connected, Mavrtr posts a message to your chosen Slack channel whenever a brief completes or fails. The message includes the store URL, product name, and a direct link to the brief.
Setup
- In Slack, click Apps in the sidebar → search for Incoming WebHooks → Add to Slack.
- Choose the channel where you want brief notifications (e.g.
#mavrtr-briefs). - Click Add Incoming WebHooks integration. Slack creates a unique webhook URL.
- Copy the webhook URL (it looks like
https://hooks.slack.com/services/T.../B.../...). - In Mavrtr, go to Integrations → Slack → Connect.
- Paste the webhook URL. Optionally add a channel label for reference.
- Click Connect — Mavrtr sends a test ping to verify.
Create a dedicated
#mavrtrchannel so brief notifications don't get lost in a busy general channel.Minimum plan
Slack is available on all plans, including Trial.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| Connection failed on save | Make sure the webhook URL is the complete Slack URL, not a shortened or copied partial. |
| Messages stopped arriving | The webhook may have been revoked in Slack. Go to Slack → Apps → Incoming WebHooks and verify the webhook is still active. Reconfigure in Mavrtr if needed. |
| Wrong channel | Slack routes to the channel you selected when creating the webhook — not the label in Mavrtr. To change channel, create a new webhook in Slack and reconfigure in Mavrtr. |
